Adults

We hold a number of popular and informal events and activities for adults, which take place regularly, throughout the year:

Sunday Afternoon Tea

Sunday tea takes place on the first Sunday of the month from 3.30-5.30pm for people who appreciate the opportunity of meeting others over a simple afternoon tea.

Coffee Mornings

Coffee-morning drop-in sessions take place on the second and fourth Friday of each month from 9-11am. Come along for a chat, meet new people from your area, catch up with friends, find out about other local events or services, or simply enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with a biscuit or homemade cake and take a break from your busy schedule! All welcome - no age limits (upper or lower!) There is a toy/play area available for young children.

Children's Storehouse - a free children's clothing/equipment giveaway organised by the local Riverside Vineyard church) - visits regularly, generally on the second Friday of the month.

There is no charge - donations for refreshments are optional.

Gent's Supper Club

Gent's Supper Club meet on the 3rd Monday of the month from 7.45-10pm for a relaxed meal together, followed by a presentation on a wide variety of different topics by a guest speaker.

Lunch Club

Lunch Club meets with the opportunity for people who might otherwise eat alone to share in a home-cooked two-course meal in good company. Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month, from 1-2.30pm.

Friends

Friends takes place on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month from 2.30-4pm, and caters for ladies who enjoy meeting together for conversation, visiting speakers, short monthly services and refreshments.

Art Groups

Art groups meet fortnightly on 1st & 3rd Fridays of the month from 2.15-4.30pm to share an interest in painting, with helpful tips for beginners and shared ideas for the more experienced artists.
