Raising The Roof

One of the most recognizable features of St. Richard's Church building is its roof and spire. Sadly over the last 18 months St. Richard's has suffered ten major thefts of copper, leaving us with, at times, a badly leaking roof and a patchwork of repairs. And since we have no practical way of securing the site, we've now had to remove what copper was left. In its place is a temporary covering of black felt.

But with a difficult period behind us, we now have an opportunity to make the building better than ever, and secure its use into the future for worshippers and community alike.

But we need to raise at least £150,000 to renew the roof with a permanent covering. Can you help?
