The Church of St. Richard is neither the building nor the
services but the people who come to worship. We are
ordinary people who have found that believing in God and
following his plans for our lives can make everything so
much more rich and meaningful. We are far from perfect but
believe that God is working in our lives as we meet to
worship him and care for each other.
We believe in the importance of the family. We have over
140 children in our midweek clubs, many of whom come to the
"Lets Praise" Service at 10.45 on Sundays. We have a
membership of over 150 adults and many more join us for
Sunday worship.
We aim to provide something for everyone both in our
services and midweek clubs and activities. We offer
opportunities to learn more about the Christian faith,
which is at the centre of our life together. Visitors are
always welcome at our services and activities.
St Richards is a Church of England Parish and part of the
Kensington Area of the Diocese of London. We have a modern
building founded in 1965 and extended in 2000 as a
multi-purpose worship & community amenity to serve the
area of South Hanworth (below A316) and Hampton
Nurserylands (west of Oak Avenue).
